Sand Friend

The other day at the beach I was just laying there reading a magazine, when from the corner of my eye I saw something moving towards me. For a brief second I thought it was just a piece of garbage then I looked beside me and saw these little eyes looking up at me and realized...
IT WAS A LITTLE CRAB!

At first I was scared as it is a CRAB, and has claws...but it quickly went back into it's little hole and I didn't feel afraid anymore. The little guy was so cute to watch. It slowly would come out of it's hole again to see if the coast was clear, and then once it realized I was still there it would rush back into the sand again.
If I didn't notice it move, it would be really hard for me to have seen that it was there as it is so small, and it's colour is pretty transparent and camouflages into the sand. Next time I head to the beach I will need to watch where I am going or else I may get a little surprise bite.
